Integral DBB Ball Valves

Monolithic Double Block and Bleed design: welding-free connections for maximum leak safety in space-constrained installations

What Are Integral DBB Ball Valves?

Integral DBB ball valves are designed to offer maximum safety through a monolithic design that eliminates the flanged connections of the valve body, significantly reducing any risk of leakage to the external environment.

These compact ball valves offer the same advantages of the split body design and are internally equipped with a double seal. They are particularly suitable for applications with space constraints such as offshore platforms or FPSO.

Common applications include: offshore platforms and FPSO installations where external leak prevention and space savings are paramount, and any service requiring a DBB function with welding-free body connections.

Caratteristiche principali

Monolithic Body

The integral design eliminates the flanged connections of the valve body, significantly reducing any risk of external leakage compared to split body or bolted designs.

Double Seal

Internally equipped with a double seal, providing the same sealing performance advantages as the split body DBB design.

Maximum Safety

The combination of monolithic construction and double seal delivers the highest level of safety for critical applications where external leakage is unacceptable.

Space Saving

The compact integral body is particularly suitable for installations with space constraints, such as offshore platforms and FPSO units.

Configuration Options

Ball valves can be customized to meet your specific requirements:

Applications

Ball Valves are the ideal choice for:

Offshore platforms and FPSOwhere external leakage prevention and minimal footprint are critical requirements

High-pressure services where flanged body connections represent an unacceptable leak risk

DBB function in space-constrained installationswhere the monolithic design replaces separate valve assemblies

Applications requiring double sealing with no external body joint exposed to process fluid
