What Are 2 Valves Manifolds?
A 2 valves manifold combines one isolation valve and one vent valve in a single machined block. It is used to isolate a static pressure instrument, such as a pressure gauge, from the process line, and to safely vent the instrument before removal or maintenance.
The manifold is machined from solid barstock or forged, providing a compact, high-integrity construction that eliminates internal weld points and reduces the number of potential leak paths compared to an equivalent assembly of separate valves and fittings.
Common applications include: pressure gauge isolation, transmitter isolation in static pressure service, and any application requiring safe venting of the instrument side before disconnection.
