4–5 Valves Manifolds

The most comprehensive solution for differential pressure instruments, full isolation, dual venting, and single or dual equalization in one block

What Are 4-5 Valves Manifolds?

A 4–5 valves manifold combines two isolation valves, one or two vent valves, and one or two equalization valves in a single machined block. It is the most comprehensive manifold type for differential pressure (DP) instruments, allowing full isolation of both process sides, independent venting of the high and low sides, and equalization for zero calibration.

The manifold is machined from solid barstock or forged, providing a compact, high-integrity unit that replaces a complex assembly of individual valves and fittings with a single pressure-rated block.

Common applications include: demanding DP measurement services where independent venting of both sides is mandatory, applications involving non-mixable fluids (MOD. 434), and installations requiring maximum operational flexibility and safety for instrument maintenance.

Key Features

Full Process Control in One Block

Two isolation valves, one or two vent valves, and one or two equalization valves integrated in a single body provide complete control over instrument isolation, calibration, and safe removal, without external fittings.

Non-Mixable Fluid Version

MOD. 434 is specifically designed for applications where the high and low process fluids must not come into contact, providing a dedicated vent for each side.

"T" and "H" Type Layouts

MOD. 562 ("T" type) and MOD. 522 ("H" type) offer alternative physical layouts to accommodate specific installation geometries on flanged DP instruments.

Dual Equalization Option

MOD. 533 features double equalizing valves with single vent, enabling multi-step calibration procedures on the most complex DP instrument installations.

Configuration Options

4-5 Valves Manifolds can be customized to meet your specific requirements:

• Standard Screwed
• OS&Y (Outside Screw & Yoke)
• Bolted Bonnet
• Extended (for cryogenic)

Special Features

• Double equalizing / single vent (MOD. 533)
• One equalizing / double vent (MOD. 534 / 560 / 569)
• For non-mixable fluids (MOD. 434)
• “T” type / “H” type layout (MOD. 562 / 522)

End Connections

Where 4-5 Valves Manifolds Excel

4-5 valves manifolds are the ideal choice for:

Demanding DP measurement services where independent venting of both high and low sides is required by procedure or regulationmeasurement loops

Non-mixable fluid applications (MOD. 434) where cross-contamination between process sides must be prevented

Complex DP instrument installations requiring dual equalization for multi-step calibration procedures

Maximum operational flexibility in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Power Generation plants where instrument maintenance must not interrupt the process
